Fabulous Friday: Hunger and Your Weight

Greetings my fabulous ladies and gents! It’s Friday!! Take your eyes off the clock and do some work! Make today count!

Ok, now that I have gotten that out of my system, today I want to share a video clip from The Metrowoman Talk Show on a very important topic, hunger and weight loss. I can hear you groaning already! As women our weight is something that we seem to always be concerned about. Look at any magazine for women and you can testify. There is always some article about maintaining an ideal weight, losing weight, keeping fit, diets that work, and on and on and on… and on some more! Sometimes it feels like as a woman you cannot just be happy with your body! But with the right mindset and the right motivation, and especially with the right knowledge of why you gain weight and how you can tweak your lifestyle to correct those bad habits, you can live a healthier, happier, trimmer, and saner life… and maybe eventually throw away those fad diet adverts!!

On this episode of The Metrowoman Talk Show, I talk to Mrs. Opeyemi Apati, the CEO of BYT Limited, a lifestyle and fitness consultant who works with people to help them lose weight by changing their eating habits and lifestyle. She is a living example herself, having gone from a size 16 to a size 6 (US size). We discuss hunger, obesity and major changes you need to make to live a healthy lifestyle.

The interview is below. Please watch and leave me your comments! Let’s start a conversation to a healthier you!

Click on this BMI calculator from the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute to help you find out where you are in your goal to a healthier weight. Enter your height and weight and it calculates your body mass index!

It can only get better!
